Reflection
For the work I have done in this class I have done some pretty amazing work. I wrote two Opinion Pieces and Started to write a piece on gaming that I never got done. Otherwise my opinion pieces were quite well written and after a round of editing they were much better. My first was a piece on Police or Police brutality, and my second piece was an opposing argument for Christmas.
I have learned that journalism is a lot more work than I expected and that's a good thing. What I mean by this is that there's so much more going on in the background than I realized. I was surprised to find out all of whats going on: the papers, the editors, the website, social media, and more.
Next semester I would like to be a part of the editorial staff and also I need to go out and get more work done because being honest I probably could've gotten that Gaming piece done. For my goals for next semester that's about it being more involved, but at the same time I would need more structure.

Self-Assessment
Being honest I didn't get as much work done as I should have, I got busy and put this class on the back-burner. Though I did get a lot of work done towards the end of the semester, almost 3 pieces. I believe I would deserve about and 79-81% not good but not bad. I give myself this grade because In the beginning I did treat this as a free period and I'm sad to say that. But otherwise I did well collaborating with my peers, I got work done (though not a whole lot) and in the end I used class time incredibly efficiently.
